Purpose
Section 1. The purpose of this Association shall be to foster periodical publications of The American Legion and its subsidiary and/or auxiliary organizations at the department, district and post levels.
Section 2. Encourage the improvement of publications through mutual endeavor, by fostering exchange of publications, by disseminating, through the medium of this Association, new ideas, promotional plans, and other information of value in forwarding the programs of The American Legion; by suggestion for increasing readership to assist in the solution of mechanical, professional, or financial problems.
Section 3. To act as a unified voice of the affiliated publications before the Department organizations of The American Legion; and to interest itself in legislative issues affecting the publication or mailing of the publications.
